Introducing the News Section!
Meet the newest addition to the GCM staff, Tricia Taormina.
Hello everyone! My name is Tricia Taormina, and I'd like to introduce the latest addition to Grand Central Magazine: the News section!
As editor, I plan on featuring articles centered on campus and local events and national and international issues all relevant to college students.
I'm currently a sophomore, double majoring in World Literature and French, although, I've spent most of my time on the fourth floor of Moore. I've always been addicted to magazines, whether in print or online, focused on current events, fashion, travel or women's interest.
I'm from Livonia, far away from the hub of magazine publishing. However, I hope to someday work in the editorial industry and gain as much valuable experience as possible along the way.
I'm a part of several organizations on campus, including a social sorority, the Leadership Safari program and Alternative Breaks, so I understand the effect involvements have on CMU's culture.
Have an upcoming event for your student organization? Interested in expressing your opinions on various campus happenings?
If you or any of your organizations have events or issues you would like to see featured in the News Section of Grand Central, then shoot me an e-mail at gcnewseditor@gmail.com.
