Sarah Singleton won't be the only one enjoying Buffalo Wild Wings this upcoming Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Sarah and fellow classmates from her Recreations, Parks and Leisure 430 class built "Grub at B-Dubs" as a part of an assignment to create an event from scratch.

What's better than a food eating relay contest? Nothing, Singleton's team figures; they hope for the best outcome for their event at Buffalo Wild Wings. 

There will be four groups with five teams in each group; each team will consist of two competitors.  Teams will go head-to-head to win the Grub at B-Dubs championship.

One member of each team is will have to eat five of Buffalo Wild Wings tasty flavored wings, and then gobble down some ice cream.

The second team member will have the challenge of downing half a pack of dry saltine crackers accompanied with some enjoyable powdered donuts.

The judges then will declare the Grub at B-Dub first place Champion.  Champions will take home Grub at B-Dubs Championship t-shirts and concert tickets to see Hail & Storm.

Raffle Tickets will be supplied throughout the event.  Raffles range from $5 for five tickets or 20 tickets for $10. Prices include Ponderosa gift cards, Celebration Cinema gift cards, and CMU bookstore gift cards.  All proceeds go to Isabella Community Soup Kitchen.

Sarah wants the event to turn out well not just for the grade, but for the good of humanity.

"We would love if people come out and support the Isabella Community Soup Kitchen by donating through raffles or beginning a team," Sarah said.

If you would like to be apart of the event, the last day to register is February 28; registration cost is $10.  Apply at the Finch Fieldhouse main office and put the money in Tim Otteman's mailbox; there are 11 team spots still open.
